Only 8 weeks till we leave for Sydney, the first stage of our journey. Sonia advised us to fly to Sydney on the Friday in case there is a fog on the Saturday morning. We will stay at the Airport Mecure Hotel and catch the shuttle bus to the International Airport for our 10.35 am flight to Vancouver. The next  8 weeks are going to fly by especially with Easter and the school holidays in the middle. This will give us the opportunity to spend extra time with the family before we go away.

We have been trying to organise our  clothes which is quite a task! Thankfully some of you who have been on an organised tour such as this with a cruise component, have given us useful advice. This time we don 't have the extra 10kg from the Qantas Club as we are travelling with Air Canada - or the Qantas Club unfortunately!

The early start to the blog is giving me time to work out how to manage it again - there have been a few changes to the blog programme!!
